"I had two cars I wanted to sell off. I sold one in Cars24. Here’s how it works, you take an online appointment take your car there, they will do the inspection, won’t ask you too many question. You have to have the Insurance and RC with you. After they do the inspection which will take 20-30 minutes, they put your car for online auction, which will be bid by other agents or car resellers. After half and hour, once they have multiple actions, first they will ask you what you expect, then they will give you the lowest bid they got or the lowest margin they see. Now here comes the tricky part, you should know to negotiate in the span of 30 mints to get the slider to the max which they have. So this guy will sit in front of you with a laptop in which he has multiple bids low and high but will only tell you the lowest one and goes up when you bargain. In my case I had an Eon and WagonR. Firstly they offered me some amount which was lesser for about (15k). So I didn’t sell. They will try to canvass you that this price will be there for sometime like 24 hours. But it is there trick. If you don’t take the offer, they will definitely come back to you next day and again the other day with improved offer. For Eon I didn’t accept their first offer, but after two days they gave me 15k higher which was more than Spinny or OLX cash my car offered me. However, the good point is, they are structured, when you sell the car their payment in prompt. They charge around 3k for it though. The process of selling is hassle free and you are protected. So on the bright side its easy to sell here. Spinny inspection was more rigorous and time taking, so I think they are more genuine to their buyers. But for a seller Cars24 is easier one. By the way, my second car was sold to Spinny which offered me 20k more than Cars24 in a day. But if I had waited maybe I would have got more froM Cars24, for which I didn’t have time. My suggestion would be to go here to sell your car, but don’t hurry, wait for their improved offer which will come from their customer care one or two days later."
